Every hour a warrior fights alone. PTSD has long lasting effects. WarHawk PTSD Service Dogs sole purpose is to reach those struggling from PTSD. Many of our Veterans and Law Enforcement are facing significant physical and mental health challenges due to PTSD. With an average of 22 suicides committed by veterans per day.WarHawk PTSD Service Dogs seeks to combat those lasting issues to give them a fighting chance in a world that often leaves them behind. National data indicate that on average, it takes about $20,000 to train a PTSD Service dog and there is a 2-year waiting list. WarHawk PTSD Service Dog Program relies on donations, fundraising and community support to deliver these dogs free of charge to the recipient.
